Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables and yet again i sought to be more than i could be. i knew from the beginning that there a very slim chance of success, yet i still pig-headedly went ahead and did my best and set myself up for an almost sure disappointment. and i failed. i knew in my heart that i would almost surely fail, because the possibility that i could possibly win was very very small. there were a lot of people competing, and it was just not possible to be better than all of them. but... it still hurt. i had been secretly hoping that, against the odds somehow i might beat them out. i was praying that they at least--at least--think i am good enough to be a semi finalist. but i guess i wasn't. i guess i cannot write as well as i thought i could. and that... Yesterday was the basketball game i planned with MH to play at TP. Since I got tuition at 9.30-10.30am, i could only meet them at abt 11am. MH got her 2 guy frenz to join us while MY was busy so she couldn't join us. SH last min wanted to join us so i encouraged her to join. In the end, we all went to this cool indoor bball court 2-3 blocks from TP. It was such a long time since i played bball! The last time i played was when i was in Alaska with MY so almost 1 year le! Haha MY still reminded me that this Saturday, 10 may, is our 1 yr anniversary for Westmark Tok Housekeepers (US!). We girls haven't met up for such a long time! Hee. Well we started off shooting hoops to warm up then at abt 12.30pm, we started playing bball game (1 guy on 2 girls). Well the guys din actually give their full effort but still we girls got good workout - running after ball, blocking and shooting.
